USA Industrials is your solutions provider for fabricated parts

Overview

USA Industrials specializes in fabricated solutions for prototype development and large-scale production runs. We offer a full spectrum of fabrication solutions across metal, plastic, composite, wood, rubber, and foam materials. Materials can be cut to size, edges smoothed out, bent and formed, and/or glued and welded to form custom-fabricated parts.

Plastics Fabrication

Die Cutting: A die is a tool designed to cut and form a specific shape in plastic materials. Similar to cutting dough into a specific profile with a cookie cutter, a die will piece material with sharp edges and produce parts with a specific shape and size.

Edge Finishing: There are different ways to finish plastic edges, depending on their purpose and specifications. With this custom plastic fabrication, edges can be saw cut, milled, flame polished, machine polished, hand polished, beveled, and many other options.

Thermoforming: Plastic sheets are heated and formed into specific shapes. Once shaped, they are cooled down and trimmed to produce finished parts.

Drape/Oven Forming: It is the process of heating plastic sheets to a temperature that allows them to be pressed, bent, or formed into shapes over a mandrel or form, sometimes using both an inside and outside form to achieve a particular shape without the use of vacuum pressure.

Solvent Welding: A solvent or solvent blend is used with no dissolved polymers to create a joint between two thermoplastic parts. In the solvent welding and cementing processes, the stresses typically associated with mechanical fastenings are not concentrated, so the joints are durable and hermetic.

Rubber & Sponge/Foam Fabrication

Die Cutting: A die is a tool designed to cut and form a specific shape in rubber/sponge foam materials. Similar to cutting dough into a specific profile with a cookie cutter, a die will piece material with sharp edges and produce parts with a specific shape and size.

Applying Adhesives/PSA: PSA backing on a rubber/sponge foam roll, sheet, or strip allows for temporary or permanent bonding to various surfaces, including metal, plastic, wood, paper, and more.
